This neighborhood is famous because of the Painted Ladies on Steiner Street. In fact Alamo Square Park is the center of this San Francisco neighborhood with great views of Downtown San Francisco.

The area is lined with wonderful Victorian architecture and was the center of the preservation boom that swept the city in the 70s. It’s a quick walk to the restaurants and bars in the Lower Haight and along Divisadero, including NOPA, The Independent, and many more.
