Another Bridge Across the Bay?

The bridge would go from San Lorenzo to San Bruno connecting interstate 238 and interstate 380; did you ever hear about this?  Apparently they’ve been batting this around for quite a while, and did a study in 2002 that said it would cost $8.2 billion paid by motorists.  Kind of seems sad that they foresee us needing more bridges in the future…makes sense I guess, but sad none the less.  Any thoughts?
