More than two a month in one small neighborhood!
Duboce Triangle is a San Francisco neighborhood that historically has been very desirable. There is just so much in the area, it is hard not to love the location. When I was 23 years old in 1996 I moved to a top floor flat on 16th Street Between Market Street and Castro Street. It was the first place I ever lived in San Francisco, seven amazing years. In my opinion it is one of the best neighborhoods in San Francisco. Besides the limitless restaurants and bars, the underground MUNI Light Rail at Castro and Market made it extremely easy to reach other parts of San Francisco as well. I used to take the MUNI up to West Portal, just two stops away, to watch films at the neighborhood movie theatre. The lines were always much shorter than at any of the theaters downtown. Duboce Park was just a short walk up Noe Street with a great coffee shop on the way, Jumping Java. I miss long brunches at Lime, that was a fun scene on a Sunday afternoon.
